How ya'll doin? I'm grateful.
Time is a funny old thing...
When you are doing something fun it seems to surge past.
When you are working or
doing something unfavorable it seems to drag.
The older you get the faster it passes and
the past times seem brighter than they did before.
Children seem to get older faster than you did.
Time itself seems to be moving quicker.
Perhaps that is why every 90's kids is stoked that a resurgence of 90's trends is back.
There is comfort in the familiar.
Nostalgia, however, is also an indicator of Revolution.
During the French Revolution,
people were nostalgic for Ancient Rome.
During the Industrial Revolution,
the stories of King Arthur were all the rage.
Like a deep breath before the dive or the calm before the storm.
Nostalgia can be the precursor to an upheaval.
It is lovely to examine the growth of favorite artists.
