as Christmas approaches I become more and more excited,

It has been this way since I was a child.

My mom would tell you about the year when I set all the clocks ahead,

Just so we could get to Christmas faster,

When we set them back it was like a extended Christmas.

I love the season, the reason for the season and feelings it alights in my soul.
