how Ya'll Doin?
I'm Determined!
I ran into an old friend when they were chillin with a new crew.
Greeted them in a friendly fashion yet got the cold shoulder.
This doesn't say anything about me but it does speak volumes about them.
If you have to forsake who you are in order to fit in
Then the person that you are becoming might not even recognize the you that YOU have become.
I do something that a lot of others may not do.
Write letters to my Future self from my Present self.
I always try to send an encouraging message,
let future me that present me is rooting for me.
After that I hide it an old book or CD case or wherever.
Forgetting that I wrote it is the hardest part.
Found one recently.
I feel redoubled in my efforts to keep up the good work.
Fight the Good fight.
